A Thin Line Between Love & Tweets
The heavyweight star has denied Amir Khan’s salacious claims. (Andrew Couldridge)

Only four years or so ago, the former champion and his now estranged wife seemed a radiant young pair…

I was really pulling for Amir Khan. Only four years or so ago, he and his now estranged wife, Faryal Makhdoom Khan seemed a radiant young pair, picturesque and in love. Then, the champion fighter waxed eloquent in his praise for love and family. It was a beautiful and inspiring example of the gallant sports superstar and Faryal. It added to an already impeccable narrative of the clean cut, religiously devout, silver medalist. But, alas the prophetic words of Andre 3000, so cynical, yet so true reverberate, at least in this instance:

“If what they say is, ‘Nothing last forever,’
Then what makes, then what makes
What makes, what makes love the exception…”

Only four or so years and the champ is calling it quits and throwing his once beloved bride under the bus in the process, by way of twitter. There I was minding my business scrolling through my newsfeed only to be pulled into a real life soap opera; and it was epic. Amir Khan took to twitter, much like he does in the ring, with an early rapid-fire attack of stinging allegations of adultery and gold digging. “Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people a boxer,” read one tweet. “I’m making it public. You getting the divorce #Golddigger,” Khan tweeted. He even lamented leaving his “family and friends for this Faryal;” and if things weren’t already at a fever pitch in his social media tirade, which he confirmed was in no way a hack via a video message to fans, he took it even further claiming his once beloved wife “moved up in weight,” with none other than heavyweight champ, Anthony Joshua. “Now I ain’t sayin’ she’s a gold digger…” but if there’s any truth to this, between the twitter drivel of the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and this, I just might as well cancel my Netflix subscription, because reality is in fact better than fiction.

As expected, the heavyweight star has denied the salacious claims asserted by Amir Khan, unearthing Shaggy’s megahit, “It Wasn’t Me,” in his defense. In fact, according to his twitter rebuttal he’s never even met Faryal. Now that’s awkward.

Not to be outdone, the subject of this explosive twitter soap opera and alleged love triangle, Faryal Khan, countered her soon to be ex-husband’s claims with a few revelations of her own and some Dr. Phil like insight. According to Mrs. Khan it is in fact the devout Amir who has, “…been in the papers every month with his pants down…” But wait, there’s more! “Bad role model, always around women, alcohol and then he calls himself a Muslim and runs a charity…I just think he needs some attention because boxing hasn’t been going well for him so he’s just been acting up…#30yearoldbaby” she scoffed. Even gossip maven Wendy Williams couldn’t make this stuff up. Tweet for tweet, I’d have to give this to Faryal, as Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned with a social media account. For Amir Khan’s sake, financially speaking, I hope she’s a lot more lenient during the divorce proceedings.

Is that Kanye I hear!?

She should converse with Mosley’s ex to figure out how best to drain the swamp.

Khan is and always has been a loser.

basically problems that most people have in life…only they are celebrities.
Dr. Phil is a moron and so is the psychology on TV. I called Dr Phil out on psychology before.
Psychologists are idiots of the highest order and like most doctors they follow a formula.  That formula goes like this:
person had this problem recommend this drug, they should do this and take this drug.
have a headache I recommend you take these pills….wait what?

how about i give you this little pill of sugar and water but make you think it’s the same pill I would give you , oh your headache is gone…

Khan just has to slow down study Zen, learn about thoughts and emotions, calm down and the rest of his life will follow.
all this chaos is a reflection of his thoughts, and his wife is no different.

you think with your emotions you bring that into your life.

Now that is Psychology!  Power of the mind over Body!
