The 38-year-old Randall Bailey, who didn't look a day over 37, failed to let his hands go.

In the first of four bouts broadcast on Showtime from the Barclays Center, Devon Alexander (24-1, 13 KOs) befuddled Randall Bailey (43-8, 37 KOs) to win the IBF welterweight title.

The fight was a bona fide stinker, which the fans in Brooklyn greeted with rip-roaring choruses of boos.

Alexander was faster than Bailey. He threw and landed more. But his performance was lackluster.

The 38-year-old Bailey, who didn’t look a day over 37, failed to let his hands go. When he did and connected on the always moving Alexander, the Knock-Out King’s punches had little if any effect.

Alexander landed 120 punches to Bailey’s 45, and outscored him 91-28 in power shots.

After 12 tedious rounds, the judges scored it 115-111, 116-110, 117-109 in favor of Alexander.
