All Access: Mayweather vs. Canelo—Episode 3

Episode 3 of Showtime’s All Access: Mayweather vs. Canelo picks up where Episodes 1 and 2 left off. It looks at the “chaos” of media day, where Mayweather says, “I don’t have to sell this fight. It speaks for itself.” Meanwhile, across town, Canelo Mania is in full swing. Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo’s promoter and mentor, admits that he wants Mayweather to lose. “In boxing no one stays undefeated,” he says, having perhaps forgotten about Rocky Marciano. Mayweather has heard it all before and isn’t buying what Oscar is selling. “He’s jealous of me,” Money May says. “The Golden Boy is extremely false.” Oscar’s claim that he provided a blueprint to Canelo for beating Mayweather is treated with scorn. “Oscar tried to give Ricky Hatton the blueprint,” says Floyd. “He lost. He tried to give Marquez the blueprint. He lost. Shane Mosley, Ortiz, Robert Guerrero, they lost. Oscar will try to give Canelo the blueprint and he will lose…”
