Boxing in Cuba: “A Fighting Chance” Part 5
Part 5 examines the career of former Cuban featherweight champion "Puppy" Garcia.

Boxing.com is pleased to present Part 5 of a five-part documentary on Boxing in Cuba titled “A Fighting Chance.” Originally shot in Feb. 2008, the fifth and final episode examines the life and career of former Cuban featherweight champion, Antonio “Puppy” Garcia. A blood and guts fighter who has been described as “the Cuban Micky Ward,” Garcia was imprisoned and tortured in Castro’s prisons for resistance to the regime, before he made his way to the United States via the arduous Mariel Boatlift. “A Fighting Chance” was produced by Robert Cassidy and Fred Rosenberg. The Executive Producer is David Schuster and Winner Take All Productions. The film was directed by Robert Cassidy.
