Steve Forbes’ 2 Pounds Sports & Entertainment has announced an evening of professional and amateur boxing on Saturday, December 9, at the Jackson Armory. Forbes, former IBF super featherweight world champion and Contender Season 2 star, has teamed up with his partner, Christina Lunzman, to bring boxing back to their hometown of Portland, Oregon.

“There have been a lot of fighters from Portland that were good, and I had an excellent career in the ring,” Forbes said, “but now it’s time for me to bring boxing back to life here, and give some new champions a start. December 9 is going to be my first event, and also the first time a card has brought together pro and amateur bouts in Portland.”

The full card will be soon be announced. On fight night, doors open at 6pm with the first bell at 7pm.Tickets are available now via tickettomato.com.
