Briggs and his team were notified of the result and given the option to open the B sample.

Currently ranked #3 by the WBA, heavyweight Shannon Briggs was suspended for 6 months by the sanctioning body…

Heavyweight Shannon Briggs, currently ranked #3 by the WBA, was suspended for 6 months by the sanctioning body for a positive drug test taken on May 14.

Briggs and his team were notified of the result and given the option to open the B sample, per WBA regulations, but they didn’t take this option. The suspension will last until November 13, 2017.

    His body is a shell. Outside looks great. Inside is shot. PEDS and steroid’s will do that.
