Devon Alexander talks gays and, uh, stretching

By Dennis Taylor on June 27, 2015

The ‘natural’ facts from Dr. Devon: Who would have guessed that Devon Alexander is an expert on human anatomy? Alexander used Twitter on Friday to explain, in physiological terms, why the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision validating the right for gays to marry is wrong-headed.
“Only a vagina, when it is stretched, can tighten back up,” wrote the former junior welterweight champ. “But when your anus is stretched out, you are destroyed. That’s how unnatural it is.”
(By the way, fellas ... no need to mention this to our wives and girlfriends…right?”)

Oh, say, can you sing? Hall of Fame boxing publicist Bill Caplan put another “talent” on display Friday night at a sold-out Golden Boy Live show in Salinas, Calif. He sang the national anthem.
Caplan, 79, landed only glancing blows on the actual notes of “The Star Spangled Banner,” and got creative with some of the lyrics—but, hey, Beyonce wasn’t available.

Money can’t buy your love: Legendary boxing promoter Don Chargin wasn’t shy about expressing his opinion to boxing journalist Jerry Hoffman about the influence Al Haymon wields over today’s boxing world. Suffice to say, he’s unimpressed.
“He’s paying more than anybody. The story goes that the hedge funds have given him up to $400 million to spend in boxing, and I understand he’s doing it at a pretty good clip,” said Chargin, still promoting at age 87. “But he’s not getting the ratings, and that’s the most-important thing. The fights have to be good—I don’t care how much money you’ve got. The fight fan is the boss.”

A thousand choices: Boxing Scene’s Jake Donovan polled some boxing luminaries for a Saturday article on which of HBO’s 1,000 fights is most memorable, either as a whole or as a moment. It’s an electrifying list:
Donovan’s all-time fave: Felix Trinidad vs. Fernando Vargas (2000).
Other picks from the seven people (mostly Boxing Scene writers) he polled included Angel Manfredy vs. Arturo Gatti (1998), Gennady Golovkin vs. Gregorz Proksa (2012). James Toney vs. ‘Prince’ Charles Williams (1994), Miguel Cotto vs. Zab Judah (2007), Mike Tyson vs. Trevor Berbick (1986) and Lennox Lewis vs. Vitali Klitschko (2003).
Since nobody asked, Hagler-Hearns, Ward-Gatti I and Barrera-Morales I.

Sorry I got upset yesterday but it does upset me. Because it is so wrong and an endorsement of evil and sin. There will be far reaching consequences from this decision. That may have short term happy feelings? But in the long run more confusion will result. Every successful and prosperous civilization has resulted from procreation. The only way abnormal relations can reproduce is by propaganda. The present administration has far overreached its powers and in my opinion has abused the power given to it by the people.

I totally agree with the dude. Most ducked up thing the supreme court has ever decided. Five assholes cannot speak for the entire population period. Are we going mad as a people? It sounds like it? It’s called holy marriage, the sacrament of holy marriage. How can you justify an unholy relationship and put your unholy endorsement of approval on it? God help us is all I can say period, thank you very much.

Is Devon Alexander for real. I can’t believe that he would be so Dumb to even comment on that subject. I do believe that maybe he took to many shots to the head.  And,  by the way , who would want to be a girlfriend or a wife to you. Your a very foolish man.  Grow up !!! If you have children I hope they don’t hear Daddy saying that.
