Don’t Cry for Me Argentina

How much Mike’s receiving to dance the tango in public was not disclosed

Even with internet, cable and satellite, few of us will be able to watch former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on Bailando 2011, Argentina’s Dancing with the Stars.

“My wife & I are in Argentina,” Tyson tweeted Tuesday. “I’m on Argentina’s version of Dancing w/ the Stars tonight.”

Tyson may be the first American boxer to appear on Bailando 2011, but Dancing with the Stars here in the U.S. has given Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray Leonard, Laila Ali, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. a platform to strut their stuff.

The 44-year-old Tyson, who retired from boxing in 2005, continues to parlay his celebrity into paying gigs. How much he’s receiving to dance the tango in public was not disclosed.
