Experts Conclude Gatti Murdered
Forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril H. Wecht called the autopsy in Brazil “horribly incomplete”

The findings of a 10-month investigation into the death of Arturo Gatti were revealed during a press conference Wednesday at the Global Boxing Gym in North Bergen, NJ.

The investigation was launched by Gatti’s former manager Pat Lynch, who never accepted that Gatti’s death in a Brazilian hotel in 2009 was a suicide by hanging.

A “Dream Team” of experts in various fields concluded that Gatti was knocked unconscious by a blow to the rear of the head before he was strangled with the strap of a purse.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Stanley Zydlo said, “This is not a suicide. It’s a homicide.”

Retired FBI special agent Stephen Moore called the investigation by Brazilian police “inexplicable,” and said “It’s inconceivable what they say happened, happened.”

Another forensic pathologist, Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, called the autopsy in Brazil “horribly incomplete.”

“We know he was murdered,” said Lynch. “Now let’s find out who planned it and who did it. I think a lot of people have an idea who the finger should be pointed at. But we’ll see.”

Brazil has an extradition treaty with the U.S., so if the conclusion of the Dream Team appears credible to the Brazilian authorities, Gatti’s widow, Amanda Rodrigues, may eventually be tried in a U.S. court.

I was NOT shocked when murder charges were dropped and a conclusion of suicide was rendered by the local investigators.

This has nothing to do with Amanda’s guilt and everything to do with how his estate is distributed.

WHY THE F would the USA extradite Amanda Rodrigues?  She is not charged by ANY CREDIBLE AUTHORITY with ANY CRIME!!!

Brazilian police concluded that the injury to the back of Gatti’s skull was caused by a rock when bystanders stepped in to separate Gatti from Rodrigues during a spat at an outdoor restaurant.  The doorman at the hotel testified that Gatti was bleeding from the back of his head when he entered the hotel after the insistent.  What we have here is a team of “paid propagandists” who concluded what they were hired to conclude—they were hired to conclude that Gatti was murdered and that is what they did.  The Thresher is 100% correct—this goes NOWHERE in Brazil because they had no axe to grind in their investigation.  In fact, Brazilian authorities had originally concluded that it was murder until ALL the evidence and witness testimony was in.  Once they had all the facts they concluded that the original suspicion of murder was WRONG and concluded Gatti committed suicide.

This will go absolutely nowhere in Brazil.
