On Saturday, April 29, welterweights “Amazing” Layla McCarter (38-13-5, 9 KOs) and Szylvia “Sunset” Szabados (16-9, 7 KOs) will face off in a special edition of Premier Boxing Champions. Also on the card will be the super lightweight bout between Ladarius Miller (12-1, 3 KOs) and Jesus Gutierrez (14-1-1, 4 KOs). The card takes place at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas.

Televised coverage begins at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on Fox Sports 2 and Fox Deportes, before switching to Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes, where WBA Interim Featherweight Champion Carlos Zambrano (26-0, KOs) takes on Claudio Marrero (21-1, 15 KOs).

McCarter is one of the most accomplished and most recognized female fighters in the sport. This bout will be her first fight since signing a promotional contract with Mayweather Promotions. She has won championships at featherweight, lightweight, super lightweight, and super welterweight.

Her opponent Szabados hails from Hungary. Her accomplishments include challenging Nikki Adler for the 168-pound world title in 2015. Szabados achieved two stoppage wins in 2017, and also challenged two-time Olympic gold medalist Claressa Shields in March live on Showtime.

Fans can live stream the fights on FOX Sports GO, available in English or Spanish through the FS1 or FOX Deportes feeds. The fights are available on desktop at FOXSportsGO.com and through the app store, or connected devices including Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Xbox One and Roku. In addition, all programs are also available on FOX Sports on SiriusXM channel 83 on satellite radios and on the SiriusXM app.

    About time this fighter gets her due. She’s a true gem. I met her years ago in Las Vegas. She’s very charming and down to earth. She’s a real student of the game. Her record belies her abilities.
