Terry Flanagan looks set to compete against Maurice Hooker for Terence Crawford’s WBO welterweight title…

The WBO have confirmed “Turbo” Terry Flanagan has given up his lightweight title. This is despite a deal with Jorge Linares previously being reported as “all but done.” He will move up to Light Welterweight and be installed as number one in their rankings.

With Terence Crawford moving up to Welterweight he has vacated his WBO title and Flanagan looks set to compete against Maurice Hooker for the title. Down at Lightweight Raymundo Beltran is the number one ranked fighter with Roman Andreev, Paulus Moses, Nihito Arakawa, Craig Evans and Felix Verdejo behind him.
