Late Saturday, Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley announced his retirement on Instagram.

The 33-year-old ends his impressive 13-year professional boxing career with a record of 33 wins out of 36 fights. His only two defeats came at the hands of surefire Hall-of-Famer Manny Pacquiao in decision losses. Throughout his career, Bradley also faced the likes of Lamont Peterson, Devon Alexander, Joel Casamayor, Ruslan Provodnikov, and Juan Manuel Marquez.

The sport will miss “Desert Storm,” who always gave every bout 100% and never shied away from the best fights. The good news is he will continue to be involved in boxing through teaching and commentating, as he stated in a separate Instagram post.

Good move. Let’s hope he was not damaged by those 3 losses to Paq and that brutal war with Prov.
