Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
50 Cent waited until Halloween to formally break the news that he has left TMT Promotions.

Not long ago, boxing was abuzz with the probability that Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent were about to take the industry by storm. Money May’s experience and 50’s business savvy were too potent a combination to ignore.

Well, all good things come to an end. But must they come to an end after only a month?

With little fanfare or surprise, 50 Cent waited until Halloween to formally break the news that he has left TMT Promotions.

“I’m no longer apart or down with TMT promotions,” tweeted 50, whose new company is SMS Promotion.

There has been much speculation as to why the former best friends are best friends no more. Both men are remaining tight-lipped, but the usually talkative Mayweather is the more tight-lipped of the two.

“I move the fighters to SMSpromotion cause the other half of the money team .Didnt put up there $MONEY$.”

Money may or may not be the root of all evil, but it appears, at least on the surface, to be the root reason for the split.

“If anyone wants a money team jacket I’m selling mine for a dollar,” 50 Cent wrote. “The back hat comes with it. That’s a fare price. Get your TMT sweat suit NOW!! For just $7.99 on line No shipping and handling.SMSaudio.”

That sounds like a collectible alert to me.
